Technical Requirements
In order to take full advantage of this workshop, especially the hands on sessions, participants are asked to come equipped with :
Computer :
- PC : WindowsXP, Windows 7 or Vista.
- MAC : equipped with Bootcamp or Parallels Desktop or VMware and Windows.
- Intel Core Duo 2 processor and 2Gb of RAM for optimal performance.
- Firewire (IEEE 1394) interface (4, 6 or 9 pins, 400 or 800).
Video Camera :
- DV camera (small ones are OK), with Firewire (IEEE 1394 – sometimes called i.Link) interface.
- Webcam (the one integrated in the PC is OK also).
Firewire Cable :
- Make sure it has the right connectors to connect the DV camera and the computer
