The Internet2 consortium and TERENA organize each year a Network Performing Arts Production Workshop in the United States and Europe.
The second European edition of this series is hosted by IRCAM (Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique Musique) – Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris France. The Internet2 consortium played an essential role in setting up ties with TERENA and GARR which ultimately led to the organization of this event at IRCAM. The New World Symphony in Miami Beach also played an important role in this process.
RENATER (the French National Research and Education Network) has provided invaluable support to all aspects of this project.
